Your hosts Heidrun and Roland welcome you in their little paradise. "THE BEST VIEW" is the highest guesthouse of Gordons Bay overlooking the romantic sea resort, the False-Bay, the Hottentots Mountain Range and on clear days you can see Table Mountain and Cape Point. All our 6 double rooms have this overwhelming panoramic view from their private balconys and terasses and with binoculars you can regularly observe seals, sometimes dolphins and within Juli and November the wales playing in the bay. The furnitures are modern and new. Large kingsize beds (2m x 2m) with high quality health matrasses, a ventilator, radio-clock, coffee station and refrigerator, with cool softdrinks and beer are standard. The bathrooms have shower or bath tub. Our 2 self-catering rooms (max 4 pers) have an additional kitchenette with microwave oven, stove, coffee maschine, tea cattle, and toaster besides dishes and cutlery, but of course you can choose any time to order breakfast on our sunny breakfast deck. For larger families (max 6 Pers) we can offer you 2 connecting rooms as a separate entity with kitchenette. The fire place braii facilility, the garden and shady porch can be used any time by our guests.

Gordons Bay is the ideal basis for going on day tours, be it sightseeing or sportive activities. Our garden fences a nature reserve, declared as a world heritage site by the UNESCO in 1999, as it hostes plenty of rare animals and plants. There is many hiking trails inviting you to explore the surroundings. The 3 unspoiled sand beaches of Gordons Bay with warm Indian Ocean water temperatures and children friendly, shallow water can be reached within a 15 minutes walk, and at the buzzling beach promenade you find bars, cafés, souvenir shops, restaurants and 2 yacht harbors with more restaurants, cafés and bars. Bird lovers can observe thousands of ...and other bird species on the 14 km long sweet water lake, right outside of Gordons Bay. And of course it’s the sportive people that will love the Gordons Bay activitie offers. Gordons Bay is wellknown for being host of the annual triathlon “Iron Man of South Africa”, but of course there is plenty more as the adrenalin activities in the nearest surrounding: diving, paragliding, abseiling, mountain biking…or all kind of water sports from kite-surfing, deep sea fisching, sailing…or land sports as golfing on 5 championship courses, hiking, biking or horse riding… Button 3: Day Tours All Day Tours are conducted by us personally.
