DRAKENSTEIN LION PARK WINELANDS

 

The Park currently houses thirteen lion. The animals at the Park are assured a chance of living out their natural lives in an enriched environment.As the park is not involved in the breeding of and the trade in lions, its sole source of funding is the nominal admission fee charged, and hence relies heavily on public support.The park is situated on 7.5 hectares of ground in the scenic Cape Winelands. One can stroll through the park at your leisure and view these magnificent beasts at eye level or get a bird’s eye view from one of the raised viewing platforms.
