As your new friend in South Africa I custom tailor all tours to your comfort and interests. As soon as I receive your enquiry, I send you a little questionnaire with about 10 questions. Besides the size of your party and when your visit is planned, I need to understand your interests and desires. As soon as I receive your information, I initiate a planning document for your unforgettable visit. I then contact you and upon your agreement to continue with the revised planning document, the planning fee is due. I will then create a final tour plan for your approval. What are my qualifications? After having worked as a Reinsurance Underwriter and Client Manager for German and Swiss Reinsurer, with working experience in New York, London, Zurich, Munich, Johannesburg and Cape Town, I started Qwe Qwena Tours cc in 2001. English is my mother tongue, but I also speak Africaans and German. I was born on the 11/10/57, have a passion for my country, outdoors, people and take great pleasure in sharing what South Africa has to offer with visitors to my shores. I am a registered South African TourGuide with the Departement of Environmental Affairs and Tourism of South Africa, as well as a member of the Cape Tourist Guide Association. I am also a holder of a professional Drivers Licence which entitles me to drive fare paying passengers to insure the holiday of any applicable insurances that a guest may have.

Rates & Conditions
Rates There is a planning fee of R 300. My general hours of availability for guiding are between 08.00 and 17.30, which I will gladly adjust to the needs of my guests upon request. From 1 to 3 consecutive days: Daily fee (more than 5 h) = R 1320 Half day minimum daily (less than 5 h) = R 825 From 4 to 7 consecutive days: Daily fee (more than 5 h) = R 1050 Half day minimum daily (less than 5 h) = R 735 From 8 or more consecutive days: Daily fee (more than 5 h) = R 800 Half day minimum daily (less than 5 h) = R 630 Please note: These rates are for my guiding and driving only and exclude the costs of any transport, accommodation, admission fees, meals and refreshments and any other costs, which would be for the account of my guests. Payment 30% of deposit generally required at time of accepting an itinery fully refundable if cancelled up to 14 days prior to departure non refundable thereafter Balance of total price due and payable prior to departure
