Welcome to BUFFELSDRIFT Game Lodge, a sprawling game farm in the fertile Cango Valley at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains – one of South Africa´s famous eight World Heritage Sites. Situated 7 km outside Oudtshoorn on famous Route 62, our Game Lodge offers guests unique game viewing and outdoor experiences with style, comfort, atmosphere and warm hospitality. The pristine bushveld, lush vegetation and a 5 ha natural waterhole create a haven for a variety of game species and more than 217 bird species – and our leisure facilities and charming luxury tents along the natural waterhole will ensure lasting memories of your stay in the unique beauty of the Klein Karoo.

Accommodation
The 25 luxury tents on the edge of the natural waterhole offer beautiful views of the spacious Klein Karoo landscape. All tents are tastefully decorated with full air-conditioning and a modern bathroom with separate out-door shower. Each tent has its own private wooden deck overlooking the water where guests can relax, admire the view and spot the free roaming game. The whole environment is one of quiet solitude that offers peace of mind. At night admire our full moon and you will agree that the Klein Karoo moon is more beautiful and the stars much brighter than anywhere else in the world! 2 bush safaris, dinner and breakfast are included in the one day package. The two day packages additionally include an elephant walk, a day tour to Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch or an Ostrich Show Farm.
