Accommodation Types
For the holiday visitor there are 26 rest and bushveld camps within the park, most of them scenically positioned. Each camp has its own unique selection of accommodation types: there are camping sites for caravans and tents, rustic huts, safari tents on permanent platforms, bungalows, cottages with multiple bedroom units, guest houses with exclusive view and exclusive private bush lodges with unique style and atmosphere. The choice is yours, according to availability, your lifestyle and budget. All accommodation units are serviced daily and bedding, towels and soap are provided. Most of the units have either air-conditioning or fans. Visitors who are accommodated in units without cooking facilities have to provide their own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Barbecue and communal cooking facilities are available in all the camps. There are also a few exclusive 5* prvate lodges that have been granted concessions within the Kruger National Park.

Main Rest Camps
All the major rest camps have electricity, a first-aid centre, a shop, braai and communal kitchen facilities, a laundromat/laundry tubs, a restaurant and/or self-service cafeteria, public telephones and a petrol station. Information centres manned by information staff are at Letaba, Skukuza and Berg-en-Dal. Holiday programmes and evening film shows of wildlife and conservation are arranged in many of the restcamps. Please enquire at reception. Main Restcamps are: Berg-en-Dal (with satellite Malelane), Crocodile Bridge, Letaba, Lower Sabie, Mopani, Olifants, Orpen (with satellites Maroela and Tamboti),Pretoriuskop, Punda Maria, Satara (with satellite Balule),Shingwedzi, Skukuza.

Bushveld Camps
Bush camps provide accommodation in smaller, more remote restcamps. One or more accommodation units may be reserved. Bush camps do not have shops or restaurants. Access to all bushveld camps is restricted to overnight visitors with reserved accommodation. Electrical equipment such as hair-dryers, cannot be used except at Talamati, Biyamiti and Bateleur. Open verandas often serve as kitchen/dining room. All units have a refrigerator, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and a stove, either a two-plate stove without an oven or a four-plate stove with an oven in the larger units. All units have private ablution facilities. Communal freezing facilities are offered at Biyamiti, Shimuwini, Talamati and Sirheni. Cell phones can be charged at reception at Shimuwini and Sirheni. The five Bushveld Camps are: Bateleur, Biyamiti, Shimuwini, Sirheni, Talamati.

Bush Lodges
A bush lodge is an exclusive, private lodge with a unique style and atmosphere. It must be reserved en bloc and thus provides the opportunity to enjoy complete privacy. There are no shops or restaurant facilities, but the kitchen has a gas stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer, cutlery and crockery. Gas braais and barbecue facilities are provided and wood may be purchased. Visitors can check in at any main rest camp or gate. There are 2 Bush Lodges: Boulders for maximum 12 persons (6 bedrooms) and Roodewal for mamimum 19 persons as it includes 1 family cottage (2 bedrooms) and 3 bungalows with 3 beds each and a loft with two matrasses. At both bush lodges solar panels provide power for lights and fans only.
