National Parks
Tsitsikamma National Park
The Tsitsikamma National Park is an 80Km long coastal strip between Nature's Valley and the mouth of the Storms River, which is perhaps the most spectacular gorge in South Africa. It is Africa's oldest and largest marine reserve and is internationally recognized for its forests, which conserve the giant Outeniqua yellowwood - one of the few true monarchs of the world's forests. Tsitsikamma activities include some unique pleasures ranging from walking and mountain biking on well-marked trails in the heart of the tranquil forest to hunting safaris on a farm or fishing excursions. Adventure lovers can have the time of their lives on a tree top tour, or canoeing, kloofing, abseiling, scuba-diving, black-water rafting or tubing.

Wilderness National Park
The Wilderness National Park is situated in the heart of famous Garden Route. It is a charming world of lakes, rivers, fens, estuaries and beaches gently unfolding against a backdrop of lush forest and lofty mountains. Nature trails wind through densely wooded forest and along tranquil rivers, affording you the opportunity to encounter the brilliantly coloured Knysna Loerie, or one of the 5 Kingfisher species that occur here. During spring the lakes are surrounded by a carpet of flowers, further enhancing the verdant beauty of this wetland national park

Knysna Forest
Knysna forest is the largest indigenous forest in South Africa. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the tall and ancient trees of local and exotic species, including Stinkwood, Yellowwood, Blackwood, Ironwood, White Alders and Cape Chestnut. The animal life is limited to a few small antelopes and a large variety of birds, such as the famous Knysna Loerie, but there are at least 4 very shy Forest Elephants living in the forest. Two youngsters were found over 2 years back and a fourth was sighted about 18 months ago. This suggests that there is a breeding pair, which is very exciting news for all conservationists.

Other wildlife found on the Reserve include Cape Mountain Tortoises, Blue Cranes, rare Black African Oyster Catchers, White breasted cormorant, Bushbuck and more!
