| From Bat's Cave and the St. Blaize Lighthouse, waves crash against the rocky shoreline. Whales, Dolphins and seals entertain onlookers for hours. Whilst relaxing on De Dakke Beach you can also experience the carefree playing of Whales and Dolphins. Boat trips to Seal Island give you the best chance to close encounters with Whales, Dolphins, Seals and Penguins from mid-June to November. | ||

| Wilderness | ||
| Dolphin's Point, overlooks some 20km of beach and the bay. It’s a breathtaking viewpoint from where Whales can often be seen swimming just behind the breakers. Leentjies is at the west end of Sands Road, and Flat Rock Beach is below the Holiday Inn Garden Court. Both are much favoured for Whale and dolphin watching. Kleinkrans is 3Km to the east of Flat Rock Beach, Whales are often seen from the parking area from mid-June until November, while the beach itself is easily accessible. | ||

| Knysna | ||
| Knysna offers the viewer excellent opportunities for viewing these magnificent seasonal visitors. The best viewing is from Brenton-on-Sea, either from next to the hotel or from the wooden boardwalk on the dunes of the new Brenton extension. The Knysna Heads guarding the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon are also good viewpoints from mid-June until November, offering spectacular views of the rugged coastline and tranquil lagoon. | ||

| Plettenberg Bay | ||
| Plettenberg Bay compromises outstanding Whale watching facilities with ideal viewpoints along the coastline. The area between the wreck of the Athene and the Keurbooms River is especially favoured by the Southern Right Whales. Robberg Peninsula, looms protectively over its nursery and provides a grandstand of incomparable beauty and viewing pleasure. Other Whale watching points from mid-June until November are from Beachy Head Road at Robberg Beach, the Look-out Deck on Look-out Beach, Beacon Isle and Signal Hill. | ||
