Landmark Panorama of Camps Beach Bay
Camps Bay beach is South Africa´s answer to the Riviera: yachts, speed boats and jet-skis play in the bay, while palm trees sway beside the long, white sands. It is t h e place for urban beach life.The fine white sand is - especially over the weekends and during the holidays - packed with young people. The sea is, due to the protected position in the bay, quite calm and - in summer - good for swimming. The beach offers showers and shady barbeque spots, and at the southern end, there is a seawater pool.Camps Bay's beach promenade is lined with cafés, bistros, discotheques and restaurants. These are mostly excellent, specialised in Mediterranean or sea food and Sushi.
